Historical Exhibits - ongoing
Girl Scouts of Connecticut is putting its historical items on tour! We’re partnering with local museums and businesses to exhibit “Celebrating 100 years of Leadership.” Locations will be scattered throughout Connecticut. If you would like additional information, please contact Hannah Granfield at hgranfield@gsofct.org.

- The Milford Historical Society's summer exhibit is all about Girl Scouting. Visitors are welcome Saturdays and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. with some exceptions for holidays through early October. The exhibit is FREE! For more information call (203) 874-2664 or visit their website.
- The Cheshire Historical Society is hosting a Girl Scout Exhibit through the summer. The society is open on Sundays (except July 7) from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., and is located at 43 Church Drive (the Church Green) in Cheshire. They can set up special appointments for groups and tours. Change the World International Camporee – August 5-11, 2012
This once-in-a-lifetime event will bring Girl Scouts and Girl Guides from around the world together to share ideas, cultures and friendship. Make new friends while enjoying your favorite camp activities and working together to change the world! More details.
Centennial Gala – September 12, 2012
On September 12 at the Hartford Marriott Downtown we will
be celebrating 100 years of Girl Scouting at the 19th Annual Woman of
Merit Benefit Dinner. We will be honoring 100 women, men, groups, and
organizations! Learn more!
Energy Expo Westfield Meriden Mall - October 20, 2012
Our final 100th celebration of the year invites Girl Scout families and friends to learn about energy efficiency, your ecological footprint, green career choices and much more. There will be something for girls and adults alike to learn! This is a free event. Don't forget to carpool!

Promise Circle Celebrations - March 12, 2012
Imagine every Girl Scout in Connecticut reciting the Girl Scout Promise
and Law at the same time! Hundreds of Promise Circles were held on our

Camp Alice Merritt Reunion - June 10, 2012
Camp Merritt alums joined together to connect, reminisce, and celebrate 100 years of Girl Scouting
at Camp Alice Merritt on June 10. The event included keynote speaker Joseph Meritt, Alice's
grandson, a sing-a-long, walking tours, the
GSOFCT Historical Exhibit, dedication of the Nellie B. West building,
