Cookies, Delicious Cookies! Posted: Apr 6, 2010 Cookies, cookies and did I mention cookies? Girl Scout troop 64538 volunteered their time to help out their troop by selling girl scout cookies to raise money for their big trip which is to the Beach Jam in WildWood, New Jersey. This event took place November 2nd,Election day at Laurel Ledge Elementary, Beacon Falls. The booth opened at 6am and closed at 4pm because they sold out faster than the previous year. We sold the thin mints the fastest. We enabled people to vote for which cookie they liked the most. Thin mints and somoas were tied for first. There was coffee, tea, and hot chocolate at free will donations. We also had samples of the newest member to the cookie family, “thank-u-berry munch”. We also accepted donations for gift of care, which is when we take money and a box of cookies is sent over to the men and women in our military.
