Girl Scout Flag Ceremony Posted: Jun 16, 2010 Stratfield school in Fairfield had about 90 Girls Scouts come out today for a Flag Ceremony. In honor of Flag Day, Jr Troop 33038 contacted the Principal and got permission to host a Girl Scout Flag Ceremony to replace the torn and tattered flag that has been hanging at their school with a new flag that they purchased for Flag Day. They then gave the old flag to the principal who asked if it would be ok to place the old flag in the time capsule, that will be placed in the school grounds after the construction on the addition was finished with a note saying it was replaced by the Girl Scouts for Flag Day 2010.
