Helping Kids with Cancer Posted: Jul 2, 2010 Troop 64179 recently completed their Bronze Award project providing DVD movies for The Tommy Fund and the Pediatric Oncology Center at Yale New Haven Hospital. The troop was able to collect over 110 movies for the unit. Children will be able to relax and pass the time during their cancer treatment procedures while watching these movies. The girls had a lot of help from our family and friends as well as Long Meadow Elementary School's Principal, Chris Moretti and the PTO President, Kathy DeRienzo. See more Girl Scout Memories [ Back ]
