Juliettes visit Weir Farm National Historic Site
Posted: Nov 30, 2010
We completed two programs: the Pond Pack and Letterboxing. With the Pond Pack, we use supplies to record nature observations on a hike to the Weir Pond, 1.5 miles. With Letterboxing, we use clues to search for 6 hidden stamp boxes scattered throughout the park, all the while learning the history of the site by a National Park Service Ranger. Lastly, we earned a special Scout Ranger patch and certificate, too!
