Making Sandwiches for the Yerwood Center in Stamford Posted: Nov 22, 2012 Our 8th grade Cadette troops made 110 sandwiches for the Yerwood Center's after school program. The center was happy to get the sandwiches but they told us their real need is in the summer. They feed lunch to 300 kids each day in the summer and it's usually the same thing. So if someone provides something different with a little variety, then there's a better chance the kids will eat their lunch.
