I was a Girl Scout in Troup 3, Meriden around 1935 to 1939. I served as Scribe of our Troop. At that time our meeting reports were published in our local newspaper, and I still have several preserved.
Being a scout was very important to me. I had been a very quiet/shy person. By becoming a scout I was learned so very much and I made many friends along the way.
