I recall being the American flag bearer at a special 50th anniversary of Girl Scouts ceremony/celebration at the University of Connecticut in 1962. The memory is vague, but I do remember I was thrilled! At the time I wore a uniform from the 1940s which had been by godmother's! This picture was taken in 1962 when I was just 13 years old.
