April 5, 2013 6-9pm Deadline 3/22/13 Failure is not an option when it comes to completing a mission at the Discovery Museum?s Challenger Learning Center.ÊThe year is 2054. This mission is to establish a permanent base on the Moon that will be used to test the feasibility of off-Earth settlements. Astronauts on board the Spacecraft and scientists in Mission Control will have to work together to successfully complete this mission. Along the way a damaged probe will have to be repaired, lunar samples will need to be analyzed, and a proper site will have to be selected for the Moon base, all the while ensuring that communications run smoothly and that the health and safety of the crew is protected. We challenge you to take this exciting journey with us. Additional dates may be available for groups of 20 or more.Please arrive 15 minutes prior to start time for check-in.
