11/10/12 6:30pm-8:00pm DEADLINE 10/26/12 What are stars, constellations, planets, comets and meteors? Hear stories of the constellations, and create your own. Find out how light pollution affects your night viewing. In good weather we will go outside to view the North Star, Big and Little Dippers, and planets.
Contact the coordinator to volunteer at this event.
A portion of the workshop will take place under the stars, so be sure to dress for the weather. Please bring a red flashlight (we have colored cellophane to cover white flashlights if you cannot find red ones). Attendees may bring their own telescopes.
