April 6, 2013 8-9:30pm Deadline 3/22/13 Learn how to use star charts in navigating the night sky. We'll discuss how to use books and magazines to plan an observing night, and plan it out. Girls will receive a starter log set. We'll also cover the latest findings on Mars and if it had life.

A portion of the workshop will take place under the stars, so be sure to dress for the weather. Please bring a red flashlight (we have colored cellophane to cover white flashlights if you cannot find red ones). Attendees may bring their own telescopes.
