PG14036-Design an Airplane-Windsor Locks

January 20,2014 10am-12pm Deadline Date January 6,2014
How did the Wright Brothers invent the airplane? How did Elinor Smith, 1928's youngest licensed U.S. pilot, demonstrate her flying skills? How did airplanes change over the course of her lifetime? Work as partners to design, build, and fly your own model glider, then use the engineering design process to make changes to increase its flight distance. Test your ideas on the museum's flight simulators. Bring a bagged lunch and then continue your exploration of the museum until closing at 5:00.
