At night, get to know girls from around the state as you complete a junk-yard design challenge. After breakfast its Engineers to the Rescue! The scenario: Your group is camping at Yellowstone and there is an earthquake. Survival skills meet science as you design water filters, wind powered cranks, a message-carrying car, and a safe shelter. Actvities will take place in the comforts of the lodge. (For: Troops, Individuals)
Please eat dinner before arrival. Bring a snack for Friday night, covered mug and overnight gear such as: twin sheet, sleeping bag or blankets, personal items. Breakfast (cereal, bagels, fruit, coffee, cocoa, juice) and Lunch (chicken or vegie tacos, rice, carrots & cookies) provided. For Friday night's Junk yard Challenge, each girls should bring a grocery bag of safe trash (no glass, sharp objects, or food items) to fill our "junk yard". All Engineers to the Rescue programming will take place between 9-3:30 on Saturday.
