TR13810 First Aid/CPR/AED - Hartford

DEADLINE DATE 1/21/13 Fee $45.00. First Aid/Adult & Child CPR takes place on Thursday, 1/24/2013, 9:00am - 2:30pm. The purpose of the American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED program is to help participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies. The courses teach skills that participants need to know to give immediate care to a suddenly injured or ill person until more advanced medical personnel arrive and take over. Course length: 6 hours. Participants who successfully complete this course will receive certification in Adult & child CPR, AED and First Aid. This will meet the requirements for a Level I First Aider for troops/groups. Participants must be present for the full course to receive full certification. Late comers will not be permitted into the course.

Bring: First Aid/CPR/AED manual. You may also view the materials on-line at www.redcross.org. If you wish to purchase a manual, bring a check for $9 made out to GSOFCT. Wear comfortable clothing and be prepared to get to the floor and back up. Bring lunch or a snack
