Deadline 3/17/13: Fee $45 - This is a two day course: Day 1 - Adult/Child CPR/AED Sunday 3/24/13 2:00pm-5:30pm - Day 2 - First Aid Sunday 4/7/13 2:00pm-5:30pm, Killingworth Library, Community Room, 301 Connecticut 81, Killingworth. The purpose of the American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED program is to help participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies. The courses teach skills that participants need to know to give immediate care to a suddenly injured or ill person until more advanced medical personnel arrive and take over. Participants who successfully complete BOTH days of this course will receive certification in Adult/Child CPR/AED and First Aid, and will meet the requirments of a Level I First Aider for troops/groups. Participants must be present for the full two days to receive full certification. Late comers will not be permitted into the course. Day One course length = 3.5 hours, Day Two course length = 3.5 hours.
To prepare for the class:
Bring: First Aid/CPR/AED manual and a pen or pencil.

Be on time - late comers will not be permitted to attend the class
Wear comfortable clothing. You will be on the floor for a part of the class
Arrive early to complete paperwork
Remove all make up and lipstick prior to arrival. This will protect the manikins from added chemicals.
