02/02/13 10:00am-3:30pm Deadline 01/24/13:Girls will come together to attend workshops throughout the day. workshops are:Women's Leadership Forum-There will be a panel of College students discussing their different majors, Zumba-Dance workout, Online Safety- learn all about internet safety and tips, Duct Tape Craft- make crafts only using duct tape, Design Time;Design for your Client- each girl will have a client and will have to design and create a product for them, Dress a Girl Around the World- girls will take part in creating dresses that will go to girls around the world, First Aid-certified in First Aid, Mirror Mirror- How do you see yourself; Body Image and Self Esteem topics, Stress less- Girls will learn different techniques on how to stress less, Healthy Eating- girls will learn what foods are good for you and which ones are not. Adults will have their own workshops throughout the day: Techbridge Kit/Role Model Training,online safety,teens and communication,financial values.

Box lunches will be provided. A letter with any additional/last minute info will follow. If you are a girl attending on your own, you must bring a completed Health History form with you - available in the www.gsofct.org Resource and form library.
