For Girl Scouts
We are excited to introduce the Digital Order Card, the newest tool in the Girl Scout Cookie Program! The Girl Scout Cookie Program has added a true digital component, and being a rock star cookie boss has never been easier. The Digital Order Card is fun, safe, easy, and super cool! Parents and Guardians can get their girl started by filling out the Digital Order Card online sign-up form. For more info, check out the Cookie Connection!


If you have already filled out the sign-up form, but have not received the email, please do not fill it out again. Please check your spam/junk mail folders for an email from “Girl Scout Cookies.” If you still don’t see the email, please contact productsales@gsofct.org.

For Cookie Buyers
We’re excited about the launch of Digital Cookie! It’s one of the many tools that will be available for girls as they work towards their goals in the Cookie Program.

Here in CT, customers are now able to purchase cookies from our girls! Digital Cookie is one tool that girls can use to reach customers, but please know that customers will need to be contacted by a Girl Scout before purchasing online. If you have any questions or would like to be connected to a Girl Scout to order cookies, contact Product Sales at productsales@gsofct.org.

Get Inspired
Meet a variety of female professionals on March 7 at the Norwalk Inn and find out how they chose their careers and prepared for them, what they do day-to-day, what they cherish about their professions, and current trends in their industries. Event features opportunities to meet in small groups for in-depth discovery of particular careers. For

Mall Madness
With interactive displays, games and demos, girls show how they’re shaping the future! Stop by booths run by Girl Scout Troops Saturday March 7, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Enfield Square Mall. Learn more here.

Archery Club
Are you ready to hit the bull's-eye? Join the Archery Club in Bristol! Meet at Camp Carlson on March 8, 15,22, 29, and April 12 to learn archery safety, techniques, and scoring. Challenge your friends! Open to
Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors with an adult. Register by March 5.

 

 Recycled Runway
Get creative with recyclable materials and create an outfit for a doll on March 21 at Salem School. At the event, walk the carpet and take part in a variety of activities. For all ages. See this flyer for more info. Register by March 12.

 

Intro to Climbing
This half day climbing program will introduce beginners to the fun and adventure of rock climbing by using the climbing tower at Camp Pattagansett. Participants will learn how to wear and check their safety equipment, proper etiquette around the ropes course and good climbing techniques.  For
Juniors and Cadettes with an adult. Register by March 12. Four dates to choose from.

Adventure Day - Climbing and Zipline
A full day of ropes course fun and excitement on April 18 at Camp Pattagansett. Participants will tackle the climbing tower in the morning and the zip line in the afternoon.
Open to Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors with an adult. Register by March 12.

Explore, Design, Build, Teach
For Seniors and Ambassadors. Friday night, March 27, hang out with Society of Women Engineers and U.S. Coast Guard Cadets. Explore different types of engineering and create designs to meet challenges. Saturday morning, practice challenges you’ll teach to Brownies that afternoon. Register by March 16.

SWE: Be That Engineer
April 12, 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.

Learn to think like an engineer when you make a hovercraft, a marshmallow blaster, a robo-wheel and more with young women from the Society of Women Engineers at Eversource Energy in Berlin. Fee includes snack and patch. For
Junior troops or Individuals with an adult.  Fee: $5 per girl, $3 per adult. 

GE: What's in a Career? 
April 13, 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m

Danbury, Norwalk, or Stamford
Learn from GE professionals about finance, engineering, marketing and technology through hands-on activities and job-shadowing. Fee includes lunch. For
Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors (register as individuals) Fee: $5 per girl, no adults.

International Women's Forum: Girl Power Workshop Event
April 14, 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.

Join these fun and fabulous executive women leaders at UConn Business School in Stamford for a day of leadership development and career exploration including public speaking, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Fee includes lunch and patch. For
Cadette troops or individuals with an adult. Fee: $5 per girl, $3 per adult.

Travelers: It All Adds Up!
April 15, 10:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

Play Wheel of Misfortune and learn now insurance works to protect us at Travelers in Hartford. Thanks to Women in Actuarial and Analytics, parking fees are generously covered. Includes, lunch, panel discussion, tour, patch. For
Cadette troops or Individuals with an adult. Fee: $5 per girl, $5 per adult.

Merrill Lynch: Money Matter$
April 16, 12:00-4:00 p.m.

Hands-on activities that show the real cost of credit, your life at age 25, and a tour of this Merrill Lynch in Stamford. Aligns with Budgeting, Buying Power and Good Credit badges. Fee includes lunch and patch. For
Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors (register as individuals). Fee: $5 per girl, no adults.

MasterCard: Girls4 Tech
April 17, 9:30-11:30 a.m. or 2:00-4:00 p.m.

Learn about careers as you uncover patterns that identify fraud, decode an encrypted message, & take a tour of the high tech digs MasterCard employees enjoy everyday in Purchase, NY. For girls in grades 5-6. Fee: Morning session $15/girl, $15/adult (includes bus from Fairfield County); Afternoon session: $5/girl, $5/adult (no bus).

Biomedical Engineering: Getting Hip to your Kneeds
April 18, 10:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

This highly interactive discussion will include hands-on demos, animated videos, actual product samples and other team-oriented activities. Optional-bring a lunch and explore Camp An-Se-Ox in Oxford after the program. For
Cadette troops or individuals with an adult. Fee: $5 per girl, $3 per adult.

 

UPCOMING VOLUNTEER TRAININGS

HikerWilderness First Aid
Do you want to safely explore the wilderness? This course will certify you to act as the First Aider for troops/groups who plan activities that take them more than 30 minutes from emergency services. The course is two days long, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on March 7 and 8, and is open to both adults and girls over 14. Find out more and register using this flyer. Registration extended to March 5.

 

Archery Facilitator Training
bullseyeEver wanted to experience the thrill of the hitting the bulls eye? Interested in helping girls share the excitement? Then this facilitation course is just right for you! For Ambassadors and Adults. $100 per person.

Certified adults will be able to facilitate at camporees or other individual troop events.
