Since 1912, Girl Scouts has helped Connecticut's girls build courage, confidence and character. While we have always remained true to Juliette Gordon Low's vision, we are constantly evolving. That's why we say we're 100 years young! Join us, and see how Girl Scouts discover themselves as they explore their world, connect with others and take action through activities and programs that are relevant and exciting to girls today.
All GSOFCT Shops and Service Centers will be closed September 7 for Labor Day.

Join us at Camp Laurel for a very special astronomical event - a Total Lunar Eclipse on September 27-28. Another lunar eclipse will not be visible until 2019! We will get to see the event unfold in slow motion as our GSofCT astronomer, Geoff "Star Dad" McLean, sets up telescopes next to the dining hall. Bring your cameras (phones with cameras work well) to take snapshots through the telescopes. We'll also observe Saturn and some deep sky objects. Bring a sit-upon, tarp, blankets, and/or warm clothes for a cool autumn night. Bring your own binoculars or telescope. There is no requirement to stay for the entire event. Observation is weather permitting. Fee is $2 at door. To reserve your spot, email email@example.com.
