FALL MEMBERSHIP MEETING
Please join us at our Fall Membership Meeting on October 6 at the North Haven Service Center. The meeting will be from 6:00–8:00 p.m. Topics of discussion include: updates to the Master Planning work; SU Delegate elections; National Convention Delegate elections; CEI updates; Strategic Planning updates; Rallyhood. NoRa CUPCAKE VISITS NORTH HAVEN SERVICE CENTER
The Lil' NoRa Cupcake Truck will be at the North Haven Service Center from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 30. All proceeds will support Girl Scouts of Connecticut's United Way campaign. In addition, you can get 5% off in-store at any of our shops that day!

Election season is heating up, which means high turnout at Election Day Booth Sales! These fall Girl Scout Cookie booths run from November 5-13. If you would like to hold a booth, please submit the date, time, and location to your Service Unit Cookie Manager for approval, then fill out this form. Signups end September 26. Please note: This form works best with Internet Explorer 11 or any browser other than Internet Explorer.

Quassy Fun Day
Join Girl Scouts of Connecticut on October 2 for this fun-filled family event. Come as a troop or a family. In the private picnic grove, enjoy a buffet lunch, get your face painted, enjoy yard games, learn to juggle, and more! After lunch enjoy all of the rides and activities the park has to offer. It All Adds Up!
Where were you when the lights went out? Or the blizzard hit? Or the hurricane crashed through? How do you think you would handle these natural disasters? Don’t miss It All Adds Up on Monday, October 10 at Travelers in Hartford. Cadettes learn how to build your own dwelling, and then see how it survives these disasters. Explore the Galaxy!
Did you know we have two NASA series at GSOFCT? Juniors and Cadettes can be part of an Astronomy Club at the New Children’s Museum in West Hartford, or at the Discovery Museum in Bridgeport! Badge workshops at Audubon
Brownies and Juniors, spend the morning of October 22 at the Audubon in Fairfield learning about the animals and insects that share our world. Girl Scout destinations are unique travel and learning opportunities for individual girls in grades 6-12. Whether here or abroad, girls will meet and team up with girls with similar interests. Click here to see the trips available. Applications must be received in the North Haven Service Center by November 14. Based on need, number of applicants, and availability of resources, partial financial assistance may be available. It is also appropriate to discuss with your troop the possibility of using Product Sales funds to support these experiences.
