Thursdays, July 11,18, 25 and Aug. 1, 6:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m.
*August 1 will include a Pinning Ceremony
Activities will include learning more about Girl Scouts, stories, crafts, games and songs.
Cost: $15.00 includes registration fee, supplies and pin. Please make checks payable to GSOFCT.
Financial aid available upon request.

Girlz R.U.L.E. (Respect, Understand, Lead, Empower) is an anti-bullying program designed for girls. Girl Scouts of Connecticut has developed this signature initiative and there are programs throughout the state. Volunteers are needed to facilitate this program to girls in grades three through eight, which may be offered during school hours, immediately after school, or in one-day workshops or events.
There is no cost for this training. Light refreshments will be served throughout the day, bring a lunch and covered mug. More trainings will be offered throughout the membership year. To register, contact Hannah Granfield.

Join Girl Scouts of Connecticut for a fun filled family event at Quassy Amusement Park on October 1. Girl Scouts and their families and friends can spend the day enjoying the park and all that it has to offer. Come as a troop or as a family! The $20 per person fee includes an all day ride pass, lunch, use of the private picnic area & activities, a Girl Scout bag, and free parking. All Girl Scouts will receive a participation patch. Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors can learn what type of sports can be played in college. Attend two out of the four sports clinics and receive a Live Healthy, Lead Healthy Patch. A healthy snack is included in each session. Cost is $20 per girl. Register using program PG12136 by October 6.

Ghosts, goblins, witches and ghouls all lurk in the woods at Katoya when Halloween is near! Come for a scary good time. Snack & treat provided. Groups of 10 hikers start every 5 minutes. Hikes last about 20 minutes. Families are welcome. Bring a flashlight for the walk in and out of camp. Event is rain or shine. Patches available at the event. Hikes run from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, October 21, and from 4:30 to 6 p.m. (for a less scary walk) and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, October 22. Join our “It’s Your Planet” Club! We’ll explore the foods and flowers we grow - from seeds and soil preparation to harvesting,eating, and artisitic uses of the plants we grow. Club members will receive a gardening apron, make a journal and more! Field trips will be chosen by the club members and may require additional fees.
