Girl Scout Cookies available this Election Season!

This Election season, elect to support local Girl Scouts and get a tasty treat! Girl Scouts of Connecticut will be selling cookies at a variety of locations starting on November 3 and running through Election Day to Sunday, November 11. More than 600 cookie booths located throughout the state at schools, grocery stores, and other businesses will allow cookie lovers to stock up on their favorite treats for a limited time before the holiday season. Additionally, many of the booths will offer customers the opportunity to purchase cookies for Girl Scouts of Connecticut's Cookies for Heroes program. It’s a wonderful way to thank our service women and men who serve overseas and at home!

Girl Scout cookie favorites Thin Mints, Samoas, Tagalongs, Do-si-dos, Trefoils, Dulce De Leche, Thank U Berry Munch, and Savannah Smiles, the bite-sized lemon-wedge cookies introduced last year for Girl Scouts’ 100th Anniversary, will all be available.

There’s more to Girl Scout cookies than just what’s in the box. The Cookie Program is a hands-on leadership and financial literacy program through which girls learn five skills: goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills, and business ethics. The Cookie Program shows a girl what she can do: great things. This program is a part of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, which helps girls discover new things about themselves and others, connect with new friends and learn about other cultures and places, and to take action by finding ways to make their community or the world a better place.
