Girl Scouts of Connecticut’s Big Sing & SWAP coming to Quinnipiac University on Saturday, February 15
January 24, 2014
Girl Scouts of Connecticut will be hosting its largest girl event of the year, The Big Sing & SWAP, on Saturday, February 15, at Quinnipiac University from 1-3:30 p.m.
During the event, Girl Scouts will be invited to SWAP – or share personally created pins and items with each other in a show of friendship, and of course, sing. The event’s singers feature Teresa from the Brave New Girls, her special guest, Astronaut Cady Coleman, and the GSOFCT Chorus made up of Girl Scouts from across the state.
“We’re excited to host this great girl-focused event at Quinnipiac University,” said Mary Barneby, CEO, Girl Scouts of Connecticut. “Girls will have the chance to sing songs, make new friends, and celebrate what it means to be a Girl Scout. I would encourage all girls, families, and friends to stop by and experience this terrific event!”
Tickets are $20 and will be available at the door the day of the event, first come, first served. In addition, girls will have the opportunity to stay and cheer on the Quinnipiac Lady Bobcats hockey team after the concert.
