Girls find friendship and fun with Camp Aspetuck's one- and two-week day camp sessions. We offer a variety of thematic programs that include swimming in the pool, arts & crafts, nature exploration, hiking, games, and more. Girls also have an opportunity to provide creative input in their own camp experience.  Leadership opportunities and special programs are available for older girls. All girls are welcomed - Girl Scouts and non-Girl Scouts alike.

Located on 16 wooded acres, the camp features nature trails, a raised wetlands walk, swimming pools, a playing field, three rustic A-frame units, a large year-round cabin, and an all-purpose lodge.  Bus service is provided within or near Danbury, Darien, Georgetown, New Canaan, Newtown, Norwalk, Redding, Ridgefield, Weston, Westport, and Wilton.

Leadership Opportunities for Older Girls

LEAD (Leadership, Education, Adventure, and Development) - For girls entering grades 9-12 who are ready to take on the leadership role of helping younger girls enjoy all the great experiences at day camp.  Participants will receive Program Aide Core Training and LEAD Training to ensure the knowledge, tools, and skills necessary to succeed as a LEAD. LEADs assist Unit Leaders and Program Staff by helping involve campers in program. Learn how to apply here.

Camp Aspetuck is full and is no longer accepting registrations. Be sure to check out our other camps!

Financial Assistance - Camperships are normally available on a limited basis. However, Girl Scouts of Connecticut has depleted the 2013 general campership fund and is no longer accepting applications for general camperships. As additional campership funds are secured they will go to girls on the campership waiting list. Click here to donate to the campership fund.

Employment Opportunities

Volunteer and Employment Opportunities - We are looking for your special skills, spirit, and appreciation of children.  Camp programs include swimming, hiking, campers, nature, sports, games, horseback riding, dramatics, singing, boating, cookouts, canoeing, and living in the outdoors.  Enjoy the fun and rewards of meeting and working with other adults and children in the outdoors.  Adults will receive training in outdoor skills, teamwork, health, and safety standards. To find out more and to download an application, visit the summer camp employment page. For information on volunteering and an application, click here.
