Camp Merrie-Wood offers a beautiful natural setting surrounded by great hiking trails and a small brook where girls can investigate the stream's natural habitat. Girls are in units by age and participate in some activities by interest so they meet girls of all ages and interests. Our Motto is “There is beauty and strength in our differences.” Each week, we will enjoy a fun and interesting new core theme so that no matter how many weeks your camper will be at Merrie-Wood, she will have a wonderful adventure with her friends. Girls will be grouped in units by age. Activities are age appropriate. Some activities will be enjoyed in small groups and others will include everyone in camp!

Camp hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Breakfast bunch is available at 7:00 a.m. for an additional fee. After-camp care is also available until 5:30 p.m. for an additional fee.

Camp is not open on July 4. Girls enrolled for session 1 or 1A will receive a free camp hoodie and water bottle.

Bus service is provided within or near East Hartford, East Windsor, Ellington, Enfield, Glastonbury, Granby, Hartford, Manchester, Newington, Rocky Hill, South Windsor, Suffield, Wethersfield, Windsor Locks, and Vernon.
