Art Exhibits: "What it means to be a Girl Scout" - March to May 2012
Together with your Service Unit, plan your Service Unit Art Exhibit around the theme, “What it Means to be a Girl Scout.” Locate a suitable site for your exhibit — it can be as simple as a one day show at a local school or library, or as elaborate as a multi-week exhibit at a nearby gallery.
Invite all Daisies through Ambassadors to contribute a piece of artwork based on the theme. Girls creatively illustrate what Girl Scouting means to them in any media including watercolor, oils, pastels, chalk, pen and ink, photography, pottery or ceramics, woodworking, decoupage, sculpture, recycled art, paper crafts, collage, poster art, scrapbooking, weaving, fabric art, sewing, jewelry or other.
