Chibogu Nneka Nzekwu, Monroe - Noticing that the music program in her school was decreasing in size, Nneka decided to organize a series of Strings Workshops for seventh and eigth grade students for her Gold Award project. Taught by volunteer high school students, the popular workshops introduced younger children to various types of instruments and proved that making music can be fun, inspiring, and cool!
