Elizabeth Maloney of East Lyme is a long time Girl Scout who moved to Connecticut three years ago. She has earned her Bronze Award and is now working toward her Gold Award, having completed the Leadership and Career Awards. Elizabeth's commitment to her community shows in her Girl Scout activities as well as her volunteer time at her local soup kitchen. She feels serving on the Board of Directors for GSOFCT would give her a chance to see strong women working to make a difference and enable her to be a part of that change. As a Board Member, Elizabeth believes she would also be able to employ some of the leadership skills she acquired from the women at GSOFCT's Camp CEO. Additionally, she feels her previous experience with another Girl Scout Council will allow her to bring a fresh perspective to the leadership of GSOFCT.
