Emily Pearson, South Windsor - For her Gold Award project, Emily designed and created an interactive and comfortable atmosphere for children at the East Hartford Community Shelter. She helped make the transition for children coming into the shelter a little easier by providing a safe environment for them to play and develop appropriate age level learning skills.
