Family at camp
To register for family camping events, use the Family Event Registration Form or contact the Outdoor Program Department and request a packet. These events are designed for the whole family! Every girl participant 5 years and older must be registered for the 2014-15 membership year or pay the additional $30 registration.* Adults (men and women over 18) are encouraged to become registered Girl Scouts by paying the $15 adult registration fee. Packing lists will be sent prior to the weekend *Includes $15 GSUSA Membership Fee and $15 GSOFCT Council Service Fee. Membership valid until 9/30/15.

Pattagansett Staycation
Camp Pattagansett, East Lyme, CT

Friday, August 28, 1:00 p.m.-Sunday, August 30, 11:00 a.m. (Register by August 5)
Fee: $55 per platform tent (up to five people)
Ready for a camping adventure? Pack your clothes, food, and cooking gear and head to beautiful Camp Pattagansett for a family staycation! Your accommodations will include a platform tent, picnic table, and shared portos. You can relax in camp with your family or take day trips out. Swimming, boating, arts & crafts, challenge activities, and evening programs will be available according to schedule.
 

Anchors Away
Camp Candlewood, New Fairfield, CT
Friday, August 14, 5:00 p.m. – Sunday, August 16, 11:00 a.m. (Register by August 1)
Fee: $95 for a family of up to five members sharing a building/tent
Combine the fun of camping with the adventure of sailing! For this family weekend our waterfront at beautiful Camp Candlewood in New Fairfield is wide open for your enjoyment. Your accommodations will include a platform tent or cabin, picnic table, and shared portos. You can choose to prepare your own camp meals or explore the cuisine  in nearby towns. The waterfront will be open for swimming or playing on the beach on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Very basic sailing instruction will also be offered at this time.

 

Just for Girls
Camp Timber Trails, Tolland, MA
Friday, September, 25, 6:00 p.m. – Sunday, September 27, 9:00 a.m. (Register by September 1)
Fee: $55 per person
A fun-filled weekend for girls to bring Mom or their significant adult female family member over the age of 21 (substitutions may be made, please contact facilitator). We will have many activities such as boating and archery (weather permitting), crafts, campfires, s’mores, and much more. Event is held rain or shine. Bring a peanut-free bag dinner for Friday. Price includes three meals Saturday and breakfast on Sunday. Contact facilitator for dietary needs and packing list two weeks prior to event. No tagalongs please.

 
Someone Special and Me
Camp Timber Trails, Tolland, MA
Friday, October 9, 6:00 p.m. – Sunday, October 11, 1:00 p.m. (Register by September 24)
Fee: $55 per person
Bring that special male relative over 21 to enjoy a weekend at camp (substitutions may be made, please contact facilitator). Outside activities (weather permitting) include archery, a service project, games, fishing, square dance, hayride, canoeing, and time in the workshop. Bring a peanut-free bag dinner for Friday and your own pumpkin and tools to carve. Contact facilitator for dietary needs and packing list two weeks prior to event. Price includes three meals Saturday and breakfast and lunch on Sunday. No tagalongs please.
