Family at camp
To register for family camping events, use the Family Event Registration Form or contact the Outdoor Program Department and request a packet. These events are designed for the whole family! Every girl participant 5 years and older must be registered for the 2015-16 membership year or pay the additional $30 registration.* Adults (men and women over 18) are encouraged to become registered Girl Scouts by paying the $15 adult registration fee. Packing lists will be sent prior to the weekend *Includes $15 GSUSA Membership Fee and $15 GSOFCT Council Service Fee. Membership valid until 9/30/16.

Pattagansett Staycation
Camp Pattagansett, East Lyme

Friday, July 1, 6:00 p.m.-Sunday, July 3, 10:00 a.m.
August 26, 6:00 p.m.- August 28, 10:00 a.m.
Fee: $50.00 per family of five
Spend the weekend at Camp Pattagansett with your family. Accommodations include a platform tent site with picnic tables and port-o-lets. You can relax at camp or take day trips out. Swimming, boating, archery, and challenge activities will be available. You will prepare your own meals. For families.

Candlewood Staycation
Camp Candlewood, New Fairfield

Friday, August 12, 6:00 p.m.-Sunday, August 14, 11:00 a.m. (Register by August 1)
Fee: $95.00 per family of five
Combine the fun of camping with the adventure of sailing. For this family weekend our waterfront at beautiful Camp Candlewood in New Fairfield is wide open for your enjoyment! Your accommodations will include a platform tent or cabin, picnic table, and shared portos. You can choose to prepare your meals or explore the cuisine in nearby towns. The waterfront will be open for swimming or playing on the beach on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Very basic sailing instruction will also be offered during this time. Shared refrigeration space available. For families.


Great Girl Scout Campout
Camp Aspetuck, Weston
OR your own backyard!
Friday, September 23, 6:00 p.m.- Saturday, September 24, 9:00 a.m.

Fee: $10.00/girls, $5.00/adult (Register by September 12)
OR $3 for patch if you camp on your own (Register by September 12)
Join girls all over Connecticut for a one-night overnight. Camp out in your own backyard or at Camp Aspetuck in Weston. Continental breakfast and patch included. For troops, families, individuals with adult.

Just for Girls
Camp Timber Trails, Tolland, MA

Friday, September, 23, 6:00 p.m. – Sunday, September 25, 9:00 a.m. (Register by September 1)
Fee: $60 per person
A fun-filled weekend for girls to bring Mom or their significant adult female family member over the age of 21 (substitutions may be made, please contact facilitator). We will have many activities such as boating and archery (weather permitting), crafts, campfires, s’mores, and much more. Event is held rain or shine. Bring a peanut-free bag dinner for Friday. Price includes three meals Saturday and breakfast on Sunday. Contact facilitator for dietary needs and packing list two weeks prior to event. No tagalongs please.

 
Someone Special and Me
Camp Timber Trails, Tolland, MA

Friday, October 7, 6:00 p.m. – Sunday, October 9, 1:00 p.m.
Fee: $60 per person
Bring that special male relative over 21 to enjoy a weekend at camp (substitutions may be made, please contact facilitator). Outside activities (weather permitting) include archery, a service project, games, fishing, square dance, hayride, canoeing, and time in the workshop. Bring a peanut-free bag dinner for Friday and your own pumpkin and tools to carve. Contact facilitator for dietary needs and packing list two weeks prior to event. Price includes three meals Saturday and breakfast and lunch on Sunday. No tagalongs please.
