Jennifer Caplan, Old Greenwich - For Jennifer's Gold Award project, she designed and implemented a horticultural therapy program to accommodate clients with an array of abilities at a local adult daycare. The popular program allowed participants to plant and tend a vegetable garden while they reaped the health benefits of exercise and healthy eating as they prepared the fruits of their labor.  Jennifer was asked to come back the following year to replicate her project.
