Kathleen Lynch Bolduc, 46, is the Chief Executive Officer of the Greater Hartford Arts Council, an organization that supports more than 150 arts and heritage organizations in 34 towns in the capital region of Connecticut.  The GHAC is ranked in the country's Top 10 United Arts funds by Americans for the Arts also and is New England's largest independent arts council.

Prior to her role at the Greater Hartford Arts Council Kate was Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Travelers Companies.  She was responsible for the company's marketing, communications, advertising and branding efforts.  She also led the Customer Experience Initiative, focusing on enhancing the company's customer relationships.

After joining Travelers in 1984, Kate served in numerous leadership positions in the areas of field management, agency management, sales training, communications, community relations and annuity product development and distribution.

Kate has always been active in the Hartford community.  She served as Vice Chairman of the Travelers Foundation which supports initiatives that involve education, arts and culture and community development programs around the country. Kate also served on the Board of Journey Home, a local coalition to end homelessness.  Previously, she has served on the Executive Committee of the Greater Hartford Arts Council.

She also led Travelers' Education Access Initiative in the Hartford region bringing together business leaders and major client organizations and charging them with integrating Capital Community College's programs within the community and as contributors to the state's economy.

Kate has received numerous professional and vocational awards, including being named honorary chairperson for the Boys and Girls Club of Hartford and induction into the YWCA of the City of New York's Academy of Women Achievers. 

Kate holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and psychology from Marymount College in Tarrytown, N.Y., and a master's degree in economics from Trinity College in Hartford, Conn.

Kate lives with her husband and daughter in South Windsor.
