Katie Malvaso, Norwalk - For her Gold Award project, Katie created an informational brochure and gave a presentation on domestic abuse for the staff at Girl Scouts of Connecticut's Camp Aspetuck. She also supplied bags of toiletries, coloring books and crayons for the women and children in the Norwalk Domestic Violence Crisis Center. Additionally, Katie supplied the details of her project to other Girl Scouts so they could use it for future programs.
