Mary Pepe is currently President of RE:SOLUTION LLC, which offers a variety of consulting services to both for profit and not for profit entities. She was formerly Vice President of Operations for the Regional Water Authority in New Haven. Prior to that Ms. Pepe was Director of Human Resources at the Water Authority and for Tele-Media Company of Western Connecticut and Valley Cable Vision. She began her career in education where she taught English at the secondary level and was also a central office administrator responsible for staff development and public relations. Ms. Pepe has a long history of involvement in community activities. She is presently the Chair of the Board of Trustees of Long Wharf Theatre and a member of the Board of Elm Shakespeare and the International Festival of Arts and Ideas. An associate fellow of Calhoun College of Yale University, Ms. Pepe is a trustee of the Gateway Community College Foundation and the Valley Community Foundation and a director of the Connecticut Women’s Hall of Fame. She was recently elected to the Board of the Gesell Institute. She is former chair of the Board of Trustees of the Community Foundation for Greater New Haven, of the Valley United Way and of the Birmingham Group as well as a former First Vice Chair of Easter Seals Goodwill Industries.
Ms. Pepe received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of New Rochelle (NY), a Masters of Arts degree from Fairfield University, and completed post graduate work at the University of Connecticut. She is the recipient of numerous awards for her community service.
