Nicole Bruno, Glastonbury - For her Gold Award project, Nicole taught creative movement classes to underprivileged preschoolers attending a Head Start program in East Hartford. She created her own lesson plans focusing on imagination through the use of basic motor movements while introducing the students to the world of dance. Nicole also collected CDs and musical instruments for the school, further enriching their program.
