Olivia G. Puckett - Olivia is the Legislative Clerk for the Council on Medical Assistance Program Oversight in the Connecticut General Assembly. A Lifetime member of Girl Scouts, she achieved The Girl Scout Gold Award in 2008 and The Girl Scout Silver Award in 2005. Olivia earned her Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Eastern Connecticut State University in 2011.
While an Undergraduate at ECSU, Olivia, earned nomination and election to Phi Sigma Alpha National Political Science Honor Society, won election to Senior Class Treasurer, President of the Peace and Human Rights Organization, and Senior Class Commencement address speaker.
AmeriCorps alumni, Olivia successfully created and implemented adult recruitment strategies and marketing plans to increase membership through AmeriCorps Girl Scouts USA in North Windham, Connecticut.
In 2010, Olivia participated in the 54th Session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women, leading Senior Girl Scouts from Girl Scouts of Connecticut. Olivia led the Girl Scout of Connecticut Girl Scout Leadership Institute Group to the 2011 Girl Scout National Convention in Texas.
Olivia credits her Girl Scout experience and Girl Scout leadership skills for her passion for public service. She is pursuing a Master in Public Administration at the University of Connecticut. Olivia lives in Columbia, Connecticut.
