"I just wanted to send a quick note to tell the staff at Camp Candlewood that my daughter had a terrific 2 weeks at camp! This was her first year at Camp Candlewood and she really did enjoy herself. She told me that watermelon is the best and she hopes that she is the director next year, which tells me that she hopes to come back in 2010.

"I just wanted to extend my sincere appreciation for the incredible experience my daughter was offered at Camp Pattangansett. This was the first year she was eligible to attend and we will definitely sign her up again in years to come. My mother and aunts attended Camp Pattagansett years and years ago and now share the same fond memories with my daughter. It is so wonderful that in this highly technological world, there is still a piece of the traditional camp experience that can be enjoyed by the youth of today.

"I just want to thank all of Girl Scouts, Camp Laurel, and the counselors there. My daughter just spent a week doing the Moon Shadows program...she had an absolute wonderful time. This is her third year of camp. The first year we did Mommy & Me (a GREAT program!). Last year she did one week and this year wanted to sign up for 2 weeks. Thankfully we were able to get some financial aid to be able to do it as well. In the end, all of this is paying off as my daughter on our way home today said, "I can't wait to become a counselor." I am so proud of her and the Girl Scouts for making that an opportunity for girls. Thank you so much."
