A group of students from Fairfield University joined the property team at Camp Aspetuck on April 6, 2013 to help with various task opening camp including putting up tents, raking leaves and many other various tasks. Thank you Fairfield U!

On April 6, 2013, over 150 Quinnipiac students came out to both An-Se-Ox and Murray to participate in the Big Event. They helped put up tents, rake leaves, clean up buildings and other various tasks to open Camp. Thank you Quinnipiac!

A group from UPS came out to the Hartford Service Center to do a Day of Caring sponsored by the United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut. The group landscaped the Hartford office and planted daisies in honor of the children and adults lost in the Newtown tragedy in December. The daisy plants were donated by a troop from Pennsylvania. Thank you UPS!

Yankee Trails

The dining hall framing and roofing at Yankee Trails is now complete! The walls and other finishing touches will be put on it soon.

Candlewood
|
Camp Candlewood’s Yarsloop unit is undergoing a facelift this spring for the 2013 Camp season. The property team is removing the old canvas from each platform and adding sides. Yarsloop will now have cabins.

In March of 2013 the Girl Scouts of Connecticut Museum will have its grand opening celebration. The museum is scheduled to be open the first Saturday and third Thursday of every month.
