Sheryl Sleeva is a seasoned executive leader and product professional with 20+ years of experience in financial services, packaged goods, management consulting, and product innovation. Sheryl currently holds the position of Group Head / Senior Vice President, Cardholder Solutions where she has global P&L responsibility for six lines of business which are essential “ingredients” in the value propositions of MasterCard branded payment products around the world. Product lines under Sheryl’s leadership include Concierge, Cardholder Assistance, Airport Experience, Insurance, Emergency Services and Security Solutions.
Since joining MasterCard in 1995, Sheryl has held several key leadership roles on the Consumer Credit, Debit and Advanced Payment product teams as well as Co-brand & Affinity Marketing. She played an instrumental role in launching MasterCard’s prepaid and chip-enabled card businesses globally. Throughout her tenure at MasterCard, she has remained at the center of product innovation activity and is a co-inventor of several US and International patents pending.
Sheryl sits on the Corporate Leadership Council for the Global Fund For Women and is also a member of the Connecticut Women’s Forum, where she co-chairs the Development Committee. She has also represented MasterCard as a member of the Board of Directors for the Smart Card Interoperability Consortium.
She received her Master’s of Business Administration from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from New York University. She has also has completed a certificate program from Harvard Business School in the area of New Product Development.
Sheryl currently resides in Fairfield County, Connecticut where she loves to garden, ride her bicycle, play video games and spend time spoiling her nieces and nephews.
