Patricia (Trish) Bowen - Trish is a lawyer with 20 years of experience in the health care industry.  She recently left UnitedHealthcare where she held a variety of leadership roles in the law department over her 14 year tenure, including deputy general counsel, vice president of regulatory affairs, and chief compliance officer of UHC’s commercial benefits business.
Trish received her law degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law and has a degree in business and economics from Albertus Magnus College. In 2008, Trish participated in UHC’s Executive Leadership Program and the Wharton Executive Education Program. She has been a member of the Connecticut Bar since 1990.  

She is actively engaged as a board member of several local nonprofit entities including the Bridge Family Center, the Alzheimer’s Resource Center of Connecticut, and a Girl Scouts of Connecticut. She also volunteers for the Pro Bono Partnership, assisting nonprofit organizations in Connecticut with a wide range of legal matters related to corporate governance, strategic planning, and compliance with state and federal requirements. She received the Pro Bono Partnership’s Outstanding Volunteer of the Year Award in 2011 for her work with Girl Scouts of Connecticut on the development of their strategic plan and corporate governance model.
