What issue did your Take Action project address?
Our Take Action project helped teach young children basic skills that they will use in their everyday lives.

What was your Take Action Project? Who did you involve in your project?
Our project was a series of games that helped younger children develop social/emotional skills, cognitive, motor skills, and language. We placed these activities in the local library where children have easy access to them. We utilized preschool and first grade teachers to determine the age appropriateness of each project.

What were the results? How did it affect the community?
The games helped children learn and discover more about their world while having fun with their peers.

What did you learn from the experience?
We learned more about cooperation in our own troop and that time management is very important when it comes to completing a large task.
