Girl Fee:

Join Seniors from around the state for this unique program. Over the course of six online sessions every Tuesday, starting March 3 through April 7, Seniors will dive into the Sow What? Journey covering such issues as food waste, local sources and resources, global hunger, sustainable practices, goal setting and more. This is an intensive program and girls will be responsible for completing pre- and post-work for each session. This is a fresh way to approach a tried and true Journey and will provide girls with additional skills and strategies for networking, time management, and new technologies – all of which are tools needed for earning their Gold Award and in advancing their education. Participants will be mailed the Journey book, which will be critical in completing the Journey, and have access to a Google Classroom where digital copies of all necessary materials, group discussions, and webinar recordings will be held. At the conclusion of the program, girls will be mailed their Sow What? Award and will be on their way to implementing their Take Action projects. This online session will run six consecutive weeks on Tuesday evenings: March 3, March 10, March 17, March 24, March 31 and April 7 *Important* Communication will be directly with the girl. When registering, please include the email address where the girl can be reached. School email addresses do not work with the Google Classroom platform; Gmail, Hotmail, aol, yahoo, etc. email addresses work best. (For: Troops, Individuals) Fee: $40 girls
