Virtual Mexican Hot Chocolate - Hispanic Heritage Month Kick-Off
Calling all Brownies, Juniors, and Cadettes!
Hispanic Heritage Month is observed from September 15th - October 15th in the United States to recognize the contributions and influence of Hispanic Americans in our history, culture, and achievements; and guess what? It’s just around the corner!!
What better way to kick off the celebration by learning how to make Mexican Hot Chocolate! We’ll watch a video on the history of chocolate and see how it’s traditionally made in Mexico!
You’ll need the following ingredients:
Milk, Unsweetened Cocoa Powder, Granulated Sugar, Ground Cinnamon, Vanilla Extract, Chili Powder (Optional), Ground Cayenne (Optional), Bittersweet Chocolate
Marshmallows, Chocolate Shavings, Cinnamon Stick for Stirring
