Junior Girl Scouts: Ventures in self-confidence.

Our Junior Girl Scout members in fourth and fifth grade learn what "girl power" is all about and taking charge of their own goals. Earning badges becomes a way of learning as well as gaining confidence. There are over 200 badges to inspire girls to learn about themselves, their interests and the world around them. They range from car care to visual arts, from inventing a robot to creating a quilt. When girls aren't earning individual badges, they may be exploring their communities, nature and cultural attractions with their troops and group leaders or making a real contribution through service projects and activities.
