Daisies will bloom as they discover the Girl Scout Law through fun and interactive activities. Each hands-on activity will help them learn the meaning of each petal through crafts, games, and challenges.
Key Activities:
- Learn and recite the Girl Scout Promise
- Create a GS Law SWAPS keychain
- Craft through all 10 Daisy petals
Badge Alignment:
This Discovery Day is an introduction to the 10 Daisy Petal badges, the activities involved will not complete the required steps to receive any badges.
Who Can Attend?
This program is made for Daisy Girl Scouts. Girl Scouts attending must have a signed Annual Consent Form and Health History Form with them or the volunteering adult from their Troop. This program welcomes Tagalongs! Tagalongs must be non-member girls in Pre-K, Kindergarten, or 1st Grade to attend this program and will be registered as non-member non-council girl.
Adult Volunteer Spots:
Adults who register for this program will serve as hands-on volunteers. All volunteers will be expected to arrive early for a brief orientation and to assist actively throughout the program. Thank you for supporting Girl Scout experiences!
Registration Information:
Let's make it a party! We need 12-15 Girl Scouts to make
this program go. If we don't hit that number, we'll have to
cancel- so invite your friends to join the fun!
