About Camp Aspetuck

Located in Weston, Camp Aspetuck’s rustic charm has been preserved throughout many decades. In 2023, improvements were made to the property including the addition of six new cabins, an amphitheater, and repairs to both pools.

There are lots of exciting activities at Camp Aspetuck, like outdoor cooking, survival skill training, swimming in the pool, and hitting a bullseye at the archery range.

Camper Weeks

Week 1 | July 6th-9th: Aspetuck Summer Games | $340-$415 toggle arrow

Go for the gold in this action-packed week of friendly competition, relay races, and epic team sports! Campers will design team banners, tackle fun physical challenges, and celebrate the true spirit of sportsmanship.

Week 2 | July 12th-16th: Camp Half-Blood | $475-$550 toggle arrow

Calling all Demigods! Unleash your inner hero through legendary quests, tactical strategy games, and mythical outdoor challenges. Craft celestial gear and conquer epic obstacles fit for heroes in training! Campers entering 4th grade and up have the opportunity to stay overnight one day this week!

Week 3 | July 19th-23rd: Aspetuck’s Got Talent | $425-$500 toggle arrow

Step into the spotlight and showcase your unique skills in a high-energy week of music, dance, and drama. Campers will collaborate behind the scenes and on stage to put on an unforgettable end-of-week showcase!

Week 4 | July 26th-30th: Chopped Jr. | $425-$500 toggle arrow

Put your culinary creativity to the test as you transform mystery camp ingredients into delicious masterpieces. Work with your team to whip up tasty snacks and claim the ultimate cooking title!

Week 5 | August 2nd-6th: Mythbusters | $475-$550 toggle arrow

Unleash your inner scientist and curiosity by testing wild outdoor urban legends and science experiments. Get ready for a messy, high-energy week of discovering how things work through trial and error! Campers entering 4th grade and up have the opportunity to stay overnight one day this week!

Week 6 | August 9th-13th: Adventures on the High Seas | $425-$500 toggle arrow

Set sail for an aquatic-themed adventure filled with water games, pirate lore, and nautical crafts. Campers will hunt for hidden treasure, build miniature boats to test on the water, and engage in epic water-balloon battles. Ahoy, mateys—get ready for a week packed with high-tide thrills and seaside fun!

Lunch & Snacks toggle arrow

Campers bring lunches and we provide snacks – we are not a nut-free camp. Water stations and shaded picnic spots keep everyone cool and hydrated.

Swimming

Campers swim daily in our on-site pool, supervised by certified lifeguards. Swim evaluations take place on the first day of each week’s session. Campers walk into the pool and demonstrate they can float on their own, go under water, and swim from one side of the pool to the other. Campers stop at whatever their comfort level is, then receive a colored buddy tag with their swim level and are assigned an area of the pool they can swim in. At any point they can ask to try again. Encourage your camper to tell you about their swim progress each day!

Trading Post toggle arrow

The Trading Post opens once a week for campers to purchase knickknacks, souvenirs, and camp gear like T-shirts, water bottles, and patches. Families can pre-order items or send cash with their camper on Trading Post day. Most items range from $1–$15. Unspent money is returned to the camper along with a receipt at the end of the day.

This form helps camp staff have all the information they need to support your camper at summer camp. A completed health form will be required for each camper.

Aspetuck Leadership Programs

The Program Aide (PA) and Counselor-in-Training (CIT) programs offered at Aspetuck give Girl Scouts the chance to step into leadership roles, gain hands-on experience, and build confidence that lasts well beyond summer.

*IMPORTANT NOTE: For Summer 2027, Program Aides (PAs) may register for any combination of individual weeks (1–6 weeks), with each week registered separately. Counselors-in-Training (CITs) may choose from any of three 2-week sessions, including multiple sessions up to all 6 weeks.

The Program Aide pathway is a progressive leadership experience:

Counselors-in-Training

Counselors-in-Training (CITs) | For Girl Scout Campers Entering 10th–12th Grade (must be 14+)

The Counselor-in-Training pathway focuses on leadership development, camper care, and program facilitation. Through multi-week training and mentorship, CITs gain real-world experience and prepare for future roles as camp counselors.

Weeks 1 & 2 (July 6th–16th), Weeks 3 & 4 (July 19th–30th), or Weeks 5 & 6 (August 2nd–13th)
