Your Voice, Your Story, Your Power!

Explore how expressing your experiences can build confidence and communications skills and connection. Through a variety of storytelling possibilities, Girl Scouts will discover and celebrate their strength in sharing their voice.

Storytelling Chapters

  • Chapter 1 Journaling-Countless people throughout history have been dedicated to journal writing, including writers, scientists, artists and rulers. In their journals, they recorded their thoughts and dreams, their work notes, travel adventures, and more.  Come learn about the value of journal writing in your life!
  • Chapter 2: Spoken Word-Even before there was pen and paper, people have participated in Spoken Word, a way of sharing stories, history and poems. Do you dream of stepping in front of an audience to perform your original material? Let's do this!
  • Chapter 3: Mixed Media-Let's explore other options for storytelling! Maybe you would like to take photographs, shoot video, write scripts, act in a play, host a social media channel. Your voice, your way!
