When times were tough, Girl Scouts stepped up.
Travel back to the 1930s and 1940s, a time when Girl Scouts grew victory gardens, led supply drives, and showed up for their communities during the Great Depression and World War II. In this immersive, hands-on experience, Daisies, Brownies, and Juniors will discover the strength and service that defined a generation of Girl Scouts-and how those same values still matter today.
Through crafts, storytelling, and role-play, Girl Scouts will step into the shoes of Scouts from the past, explore what it means to lead with courage, and reflect on how small acts of kindness can make a big difference.
Badge in a Box is a fun self-guided rental experience where Girl Scouts can engage in Girl Scout Pillar activities on their own or with their troop using council-provided materials. Each box includes everything needed to complete a full program!
🎖 Badge Alignment:
Daisies will earn the Courageous and Strong petal

All participants will also receive the Girl Scout Museum
Patch for traveling through time with purpose!
