In our song circles, you can learn to create powerful community through the arts and continue a timeless Girl Scout tradition: bringing people together through music!
Our Song Circle Highlights:
Gather 'Round the Campfire or Song
Circle: Be welcomed with open arms, and join your fellow Girl
Scouts in learning Girl Scout songs old and new!
Sing, Strum, and Create: Whether you join us as a singer or bring a portable instrument of your choice, you will learn how to participate in Girl Scout songs, to lead performance groups, and to share songs that you already know. Become a lyricist, and pair original lyrics to melodies that you know to create custom songs!
Harmonize and Create Harmony: As you perform with others in a welcoming space, you are free to develop your style and explore rhythm, tone, pitch, key and volume. Become more confident in band accompaniment, solo performance, and leadership in a variety of styles. Learn how to help musicians of all abilities and styles feel welcomed, empowered, heard and engaged in your own "jam circles" or "song sessions."
