Do you love working with younger kids? Put your passion into action as we explore the basics of leadership skills needed to work with younger campers, practice planning for activities, and find out what it takes to help out at camp with younger campers. Girls have a chance to shine as younger campers look up to them as role models. In addition to being a CIT, girls will get to enjoy all of the fun camp has to offer. CITs will focus on building their leadership skills and being a role model. CITs will get to choose a second week of their choice in addition to this week however, their second week can not be LIT week if they are choosing to also participate in LIT Training.

CIT 1 campers will: Learn about various leadership styles, Learn how to lead songs, games, and activities, Learn teamwork and communication skills, Learn how to plan a camp program, Work with younger campers and have opportunities to shadow counselors, and Spend a portion of each day participating in the fun, traditional camp activities.
