They'll explore real-world robotics applications and discuss the importance of technology in conservation.

Key Activities:

Interactive discussions on how waste affects wildlife, oceans, and ecosystems.

Brainstorm ways to prevent and mitigate oil spills.

Design a robot that could help to clean up oil spills using knowledge of sensors.

Roll up your sleeves and attempt to clean up an oil spill!

Badge Tie-In:

Senior: Designing Robots (Step 1 & 2), Programming Robots (Step 3)

Ambassador: Designing Robots (Step 1 & 2), Programming Robots (Step 3)

Completing this event will help Seniors and Ambassadors begin working towards their Designing Robots badges and Programming Robot badges. This program fosters a love for science and engineering. Early registration closes on September 29th at 5:00 PM ($12), and the final deadline to register is October 14th at 5:00 PM ($14)- don't delay and register today!
